While most shows have days or even weeks to solve their crimes, Jack Bauer of 24 has just one
day to stop to a presidential assassination, find his kidnapped wife and daughter, and discover who
is a double agent at the Counter Terrorist Unit. While the real time aspect of the show might sound a
little weird, I can safely say that 24 is the most exciting and definitely the hippest show on
television. Produced by Brian Grazer, 24 picks up where The X-Files left off, with
great writing, the coolest characters on the small screen, and the most unpredictable storylines
you've ever had the pleasure to watch. Jack Bauer's (Keifer Sutherland) voice alone is worth the
price of admission. While chaos rains all around him, Jack manages to keep his wits, assuring his
people with the dreamy tones of a late night radio jock that everything will be just fine. Not a
chance Jack. Without giving away any plot twists, let's just say, don't assume anything with this
show. Anything can, and does happen in each of those heart-stopping one-hour episodes shown every
week. I watched all of 24 in one week on DVD. It was 24 hours of pure adrenaline rush, which
had me hooked after just one episode. I am now a rabid fan, gladly giving up everything else to watch
Jack Bauer and his crew get themselves out of one death-defying situation after another. Not since
The Avengers has television been so much fun and so very cool!
